Founded in 2018 by Ava Farshidi, Avocate connects female law students to attorneys based on their personal and professional interests for mentor/mentee matches. While we believe that mentorship is most successful when it’s organic, Avocate’s comprehensive overview of each applicant and curated matching enables us to facilitate long-term connections between our members.

Avocate sets itself apart as a resource for women in the legal industry to turn to for guidance, support, and tangible resources on issues that are often overlooked or rarely discussed but are so important to the success of women.

Built on the foundation of women supporting other women in an effort to keep all women in the game, Avocate is now in cities all across the United States and has expanded into the United Kingdom.
